Being more responsible isn't just about putting a green leaf on a package. At YouSocks, we focus mainly on three simple things.

Made in Europe

All socks selected on YouSocks are made in Europe. A simple rule that serves as the starting point for our selection.

Show where they come from

A European brand doesn't necessarily mean European manufacturing. So, wherever possible, we distinguish between the country of design and the country of manufacture.

Ship differently

We offer reusable Hipli parcels, as well as a European-made alternative incorporating 70% recycled plastic.

We chose to offer only socks made in Europe. But a brand's headquarters alone isn't enough to tell you where a product was actually designed and made.

That's why YouSocks product pages highlight where the product comes from: country of design, country of manufacture and information available about materials or certifications.

02 / Transparency

A label isn't a universal promise.

Not all socks are the same, and not every commitment applies to every product.

So we prefer to display information where it makes sense, product by product, rather than turning YouSocks into one big collection of green badges.

Organic cotton

Highlighted when it is genuinely part of the product's composition.

OEKO-TEX

A certification to be identified as such, without confusing it with an organic certification.

Recycled materials

Indicated when the product in question uses them.

Eco-design

Shown only when it corresponds to the information available for the product.

The packaging matters too.

Selling online necessarily means shipping. So rather than ignoring the issue, we try to offer solutions that are more consistent with the project.
